Busy Parents - Educate Yourself About Policies and Vote For the Candidate You Really Believe In!

Without getting political and asking you to vote one way or another.  The one thing I hear a lot is that people feel too busy to gain clarity around the policies of the candidates to make an educated choice.  But, our votes matter a lot.  And I really feel strongly that intelligent women (and men) should make intelligent choices without excuse.

This survey helps you gain that understanding quickly.  It takes the big ticket issues of the country (health care, abortion, taxes, the war, gun control, education, the mortgage crisis) and lays them out survey style.  It covers candidates on both Democratic and Republican sides of the aisle.  I know we can each take issue with the source; too liberal, or too conservative. (Public Radio) but they do a decent job of giving links to articles, other sources for their statements about candidate positions.

So you can go through the list in 5 minutes marking what you think is the right choice in each policy - (they lay out 8 choices per question I think - so plenty of choices - though the recent primaries may have knocked out your choices) and then they’ll match your selections against the candidates platform and tell you who you most closely match.

I want to encourage you to take the time to do this - I think you’ll be glad you did.  They leave all issues up per candidate after showing you your top choices and show you which policies each candidate agrees with you and which they don’t with a link as to why you may differ.  I learned a ton about the two choices i’m considering and it helped me validate the decision I’d made.
